Savannah, Ga- Marilyn Perry Sagar, 80, loving wife, mother and grandmother died Monday, April 30, 2007 at Savannah, Georgia Hospice, following a brave 6 month battle with cancer.
Born in Staten Island, NY, she grew up in Maplewood, NJ where she attended Columbia HS. She then graduated from Colby-Sawyer Junior College in New London, NH and became a secretary. She raised her family in Short Hills, NJ, later retiring to St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, Pompano Beach FL, and most recently Savannah, GA. She was an active and dedicated volunteer at Savannah Hospice, Inc.
Marilyn is survived by her husband Roger Seymour of Savannah; two daughters, Carol Johnson Riley of Olympia, WA and Amy Johnson Cain of Gladstone, NJ; along with five grandchildren, Emily, Cole and Evan Riley and Charlie and Megan Cain.
